Saya ambil maklum akan hasil kajian Khazanah Research Institute bertarikh 12 Disember 2018 yang menyatakan wujud ketakpadanan atau 'mismatch' antara proses mencari kerja oleh belia dan kaedah pengambilan oleh majikan yang memberi kesan buruk kepada kelangsungan pasaran tenaga pekerja.
Untuk makluman belia-belia di Johor, anda mempunyai pilihan untuk memasuki pasaran kerja melalui portal khas http://johorcareer.johor.gov.my/johorcare…/pemohon/index.php yang menyenaraikan peluang-peluang pekerjaan di negeri Johor.
Saya percaya jika portal ini digunakan sebaiknya oleh majikan dan belia, masalah ketidakpadanan ini akan dapat dikurangkan. Oleh itu, saya mencadangkan agar kerajaan negeri dapat memperkasakan portal ini agar menjadi lebih mesra pengguna dan menggalakkan semua majikan di Johor untuk mendaftar dan mengiklankan peluang pekerjaan yang wujud dalam organisasi masing-masing. Selain itu, bahagian pekerjaan tidak tetap atau 'freelance work’ ataupun “short-term” juga wajar dipertimbangkan bagi membantu belia Johor yang terlibat dalam aktiviti 'gig economy'.

It has come to my attention that a study by Khazanah Research Institute dated 12 December 2018 stated that there was a mismatch between the process of youths finding a job and method of employment by employers which brings a negative affect on the job market.
For the information of youths in Johor, you have the option of entering the job market through a special portal, http://johorcareer.johor.gov.my/johorcare…/pemohon/index.php, which lists job opportunities in Johor.
I believe that if this portal is utilised well by employers and the youth, the mismatch could be reduced. Hence, I suggest that the State Government further improvises the portal to ensure it is user friendly and encourages all employers in Johor to register and advertise job vacancies in their respective organisations. Apart from that, a section for freelance work or temporary jobs should be considered to help the Johor youth who are involved in the gig economy.
